  1. Perhaps the ancients knew something that we have forgotten that sex and death could only exist together and were necessary part of each other. Consider childbirth, aids and other deadly sexually transmitted deceases. So is it possible that not having sex means having a life?
    Just a thought.

  2. Thank you for your comment and would make a lively discussion….

  3. In reading that “sex and death could only exist together and were necessary part of each other”…suprised to see child birth, which is actually a beautiful event and a continuation of life would be considered in the same vain as aids and deadly sexually transmitted deseases. Am I missing something here?

  4. Huh, yes of course you are missing something. No one is arguing whether life is considered beautiful and death or disease ugly. It is simply a fact of life that throughout human history for many women childbirth did not mean continuation of life. There is no judgment inherent in the original comment. It is as simple as stating that life and death could not exist without each other, and as much as we might not like to hear it, it is what it is.
